The Wings and the Tapestry

Today is not exactly a sneak peek, but rather a prelude to further updates that will include sneak-peek content!

So you may be wondering: What are these glowing wings that keep popping up in the artwork?

You all may be wondering at this point what is going on, especially since this didnt show up in Oberohm’s full character profile.

Huh… no wings…

Well this is because his wings are tied to a phenomenon that is a core part of the fictional world he resides in: The Celestial Tapestry.

Without going into too much detail, the Celestial Tapestry is the basis of all power in the Celestient Universe, the fictional universe in which this story takes place. All people in this universe are blessed with this gift, and through it they are able to manipulate the world around them, in various way.

Why is that important, you ask? Because the methods and nature of the Celestial Tapestry have a direct connection to the gameplay of Project: Lovers!

As I make progress in the development of the game, future content will explain the Celestial Tapestry and how I’m using its concept in the development of my game as a basis for the overall goal: The development of a system to create Modular Abilities in video games!
